What I want this blog to be.

Today I am trying to figure out how to make this more interesting. I know I would like to have pictures posted but at the moment I am not sure what I want to post pictures of. I have been looking around other blogs and have seen lots of things I like and the thing I like most is pictures. They tend to bring visual interest to the subjects. They let you know quickly if it's something you want to read about, so I do plan to have pictures at some point.
I am just an ordinary person trying to do something with my life and I am doing it online in front of the whole world. I don't know if it will be of any interest to others but I am hoping that it will be of some good to someone as well as myself. I hope anyone who does read this will come back once in a while to see if it's gotten any better and if you leave a comment, please be kind and remember, I am learning or trying to.

I am also interested in computers, different programs, different operating systems; my favorite being Ubuntu. I also search the internet for bargains and especially free stuff. It's Me Again

Well, I am back to play. I have changed the look of my blog to some that relates to Fall. I have always loved Fall. I love the colors, the milder weather; not to hot, not too cold. Today there is a breeze blowing. It's overcast and wet from earlier rain. It only 63 degrees. I would prefer a better day but considering we haven't had much rain lately and the temperatures have mostly been hitting the 90's, the conditions are welcome.

I am still wanting to try blogging, if I can just stick with it. My trouble is, I just don't know what to talk about. I am interested in lots of things. At the moment I am most interested in yoga, meditation, positive thinking and healthier eating habits. I am in need of some change in my life. I have been interested in yoga for quite a while. I use to practice years ago when my kids where in school. There was a show on television. It was on the Wisdom channel, which they have anymore. I really liked that channel. Well, after the kids got out of school and the channel was canceled, I sort of just quit. I have always tried doing some sort of exercise to stay in shape but I tend to get sidetracked.

Recently we have had a lot of stress and I have been trying to find natural ways of dealing with it. Meditation and yoga are excellent for dealing with stress. I have read a lot about it on the internet. Breathing techniques are something I use most frequently. The concentration on breathing slowly in and out calms my mind and I feel more relaxed. I would love to get a back or foot massager. Right now I just soak my feet once in a while and massage my neck and shoulders a little.

I am also interested in things that are free or cheap, since lately funds are extremely limited. Anything to save money. Well, I am finding it hard to concentrate right now. I am getting lots of interruptions. I will try to post more frequently. Have a peaceful, stress free day!
