A lovely day today. I could have slept longer, but didn't want to stay in bed all day. I had a bowl of cinnamon roll mini wheats with lots of milk, not totally intentional, but it was ok. Whoever eats the next bowl maybe upset that there isn't enough left, but eating it all would have been too much.
I made just one large cup of half caf, which has worked out well since I am now sleepy. If I can just stay asleep once I go to bed, it will be wonderful.
I was still eating leftover egg noodles today.
I cooked some butter peas and sliced carrots in water, with a little salt, sugar, butter, and coriander. It went deliciously with the egg noodles.
I made myself miserable after lunch, by indulging in a large slice of cheese from the freezer, covered in warm lingonberries. After a slight mishap, I found myself covered in lingonberries. (Note to self -Next time let the cheesecake thaw so that the fork goes in easily, so as not to flip the plate into your lap.) I manage to salvage my dessert. I wouldn't dare miss the opportunity to over indulge. It was super yummy with the lingonberries.
For dinner we had baked cheese ravioli in spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese.
I had an iceberg salad with green pepper, onion, carrot, and fat free Italian dressing. I also had a slice of garlic toast. I was also rather full after dinner as well.
When I woke up this morning, I had all intentions of eating light today, but sometimes things don't always workout the way I plan, in fact, it highly probable that they won't. It was a pretty good day, but I still need a day of eating light. It always makes me feel better. Now I'm off to bed. Have a great night/day!!!
Yeah, the question is whether you were able to salvage your pants after the berry incident.
ReplyDeleteFunny! Luckily I did salvage my pants. I had to make a quick change. I was afraid my favorite khaki capris were ruined. Fortunately, lingonberries undoubtedly don't stain like some berries.
