I'm No Professional

It doesn't take a professional to see that this post's photos are bad. I didn't expect them to be great, but these look worse than usual. I'm not sure if the camera is being weird or if it's something I did. It doesn't help that the lighting my my house is terrible. I don't have a window in the kitchen, yet the weather effects the lighting in there and it doesn't help that it has been cloudy for two days.

Yesterday I had the girls. I managed to get coffee made before they got here. I didn't get to drink any of it until after I got their breakfast fixed. They had bananas before getting to my house and then had grits and cheese toast here. I had a large cup of half caf. coffee with just a little raw sugar and my slice of pumpkin nut roll and an apple. I decided to have the dessert as a meal instead of a snack. I was really full after eating breakfast. I think half an apple would have been enough.

We had lunch before the kids went home. They had chicken nuggets. I hate feeding them chicken nuggets, but they are so picky. They also had peanut butter sandwiches. I wish they'd eat more veggies. Mary wasn't a big eater yesterday. She is cutting teeth and wasn't feeling great. I had the last of my Chinese food (broccoli in garlic sauce & white rice) with one of my leftover crab cakes and the crab rangoons for lunch.

Off camera, I added a little soy sauce to the rice.

My afternoon snack was a little bowl of cheese puffs.

Before dinner I put up my Christmas tree. I've had it in the living room for several days, but had never gotten around to putting it up. I didn't get it decorated, as of now, it's just a naked pre-lit tree. I'm sort of undecided about how I want to decorate it. I swear it gets shorter every year. I always expect it to be a taller tree, but it never is, which is probably a good thing, given that space is very limited.

I had Smart Ones Mini Rigatoni in Vodka sauce with a slice of garlic toast for dinner.

A salad on the side would have been nice, but I was out of lettuce and not really in the mood to fix anything else anyway.

I had a lemon Chobani to fill the void, along with a few more cheese puffs. Those things are junk, but I'm addicted, which is one reason I don't buy them very often. Rule #1, if you don't bring it home, you won't eat it.

After dinner we watched a little tv; "Two Broke Girls" night. I also sorted through my crappy pictures and did a little reading before bed. Now I'm heading into the kitchen to fix a pot of coffee. I am feeling the need for it lately. Happy Tuesday!!!
