I wanted a Holiday themed breakfast. I thought I'd try something different, besides the usual, pumpkin muffins, pancakes & waffles. I love smoothies, so this seemed like the way to go.
Ingredients
1/2 c. canned pumpkin (not pie filling)
1/2 c. vanilla yogurt
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. old fashioned oats (I grind mine up using a coffee grinder)
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1-2 tsp. ground flax (optional)
3/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
4-5 ice cubes
Directions
Put everything into a blender and blend until smooth. I use my hand blender, which works quite well. Enjoy!!
